Tonight’s performance was a huge hit! When we first arrived Sean was a little overwhelmed and was so focused on his “elmo surprise” that he looked kind of uninterested. By the second half of the show he was jumping, dancing, and laughing! Elmo came down our aisle and Abby gave Sean a pat on the head (another sesame street character). Here are some highlights of the evening with more in the gallery.
Mini update
Since it has been so long since my last post I have put several pictures in the gallery. I hope they can tide you over until we have some more exciting photos to share! These pictures were taken at the zoo, the playground, and the children’s museum this month. Tonight we are taking Sean to see Sesame Street Live, I hope to get at least a couple of photos to share and next week Sean and I are going somewhere very exciting!! If you could send good travel vibes our way I’d really appreciate it, it has been quite awhile since I have flown with Sean and John won’t be there to help.
Also, could you keep Molly in your prayers, she is having surgery on Monday to repair a torn cruciate ligament. She also has a partial tear in the other leg and we hope that after surgery and confinement both legs will heal and she will be back to her normal self!
Sean’s favorite things
Sean’s favorite thing to do is drive “Sean’s car” He collects all the keys he can find and gets in his car. I have to bring it inside when I need to get work done because he just won’t leave it!
One of his big Christmas presents was a geotrax train set and table. He enjoys playing with the rc train and I have been looking at getting him more. This past weekend we found a lot of geotrax accessories for 90% off. So we bought some cars (the movie) rc cars and some more tracks. Here he is playing with his new set up, we had so many tracks they wouldn’t all fit on the table so we had to put the train underneath. Now there are 3 rc cars and we need to buy stock in energizer because between the 3 of them that is 18 AAA batteries not to mention the additional 3 for the “talking” mcmissle with no RC controller.

For the patiently waiting Grandparents
We’ve taken a couple trips to the Children’s museum and had lunch at Chuck E. Cheese over the past couple of weeks. I am trying really hard to keep a camera on me but sometimes it is so hard to take pictures while holding a bunch of stuff AND chasing a toddler around. A lot of the pictures from CMOM (children’s museum) are really dark, I just can’t find a good setting on my camera, any suggestions?
Happy Birthday to Grandma!
We love you and hope you are having a wonderful day!
Happy Birthday Grandpa!
Sean has been singing Happy Birthday the past two weeks, probably because he has been to so many Birthday parties. I tried to get him on video , but I ended up doing most of the singing.
We hope you have a wonderful Birthday and can’t wait to see you!
Hola
This weekend Sean went to a Dora themed birthday party. Sean hasn’t seen Dora but I think he made a good Diego. Addie turned 3 and we had a lot of fun at her party. Sean took a swing at the pinata, had a yummy cupcake, and ran all over the place with lots of other kids. He was so worn out he slept the entire way home (2.5 hours).
We have another themed birthday party next weekend!
Happy New Year!!!
I know, I am a little late. Truth is spending less time on the computer is one of my resolutions for the year. I will try to keep uploading pictures for you anxiously waiting grandparents, but instead of trying to be a better blogger I am running in the opposite direction. If I find time and have something interesting enough to post I will, but I want to reserve my free time to accomplish other things. So this may not be good bye, but please don’t get too frustrated if you keep checking for an update everyday and it is a week or two before some pictures get posted.
So in spirit of the new year and resolutions here are mine:
1. Spend less time on the computer and more time focused on following resolutions.
2. visit the gym more. I have decided to pay myself $1 for every work out completed. When I reach $100 I will use that money on something frivilous that I have not figured out yet. Any suggestions?
3. sew more. I got a serger for Christmas and have already completed two projects but now need more!
4. learn to use my cricut to make cards.
5. Stop buying things for Sean. My goal is to not buy him ANYTHING other than food and medicine. He needs no clothes, shoes, art supplies, games, toys, etc. So far so good!!!
6. Walk the dogs more; Zoe needs to lose some weight and walking is good for all of us.
I hope I can do better on these things, in addition to the standard “be a better (fill in the blank)” for everything I am already trying to be better at. So I hope you are all having a wonderful New Year and I will post pictures again sometime just not sure when!
